How to claim your Free 5 Year Warranty

• It could not be easier to claim. Simply complete the online registration form at www.jvc.co.uk/ext_warranty.php.
• Confirmation of your registration and terms and conditions of warranty will be sent within 28 days.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

• The 5-year warranty (1 year PLUS 4 years) is applicable to all models in the JVC LCD TV Range over 26” sold at JVC eShop, and is only valid if the qualifying model is purchased during the promotional period 26th March 2010 until 30th September 2010 (inclusive) and registered within 4 weeks of the date of purchase but no later than 28th October 2010.
• To register the product, simply complete the online registration form at: www.jvc.co.uk/ext_warranty.php using the promotional code 'eshop' to register your purchase.
• This warranty excludes: a) All damage caused through accident, misuse, wear and tear or neglect. b) All damage caused by installation to/or use in a manner inconsistent with technical or safety standards in a country other than the country of purchase. c) Alterations, unauthorised upgrades, modifications or adjustments made to the product (whether or not made for the purpose of making the product conform to the technical or safety standards in force in another country or otherwise). d) Any claims arising from failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions. e) Any claims arising from using the equipment in a non-domestic or commercial environment. f) Any claims arising from floods, lightning, storm, frost or other adverse weather conditions. g) Any claims arising from any problems with the supply of electricity. h) Costs if no fault is found with equipment. i) Costs arising from not being able to use equipment or from damage caused when the equipment breaks down, including any costs to remove or reinstate fitted equipment. j) Any costs arising from the change from analogue to digital broadcasting, including the termination of analogue transmissions of any type. k) Any claims arising due to defective pixels that are within the manufacturer’s specification.
• No liability under this warranty shall be accepted by JVC: a) In respect of damage or loss occurring during transit to or from the purchaser. b) Where the serial number plate has been removed or altered in any way.
• This warranty is only valid when the equipment is purchased and retained within the United Kingdom (excluding the Channel Islands).
• JVC shall not be liable for consequential damage, loss or injury from, or in connection with, the equipment, excepting only that nothing in this condition shall or shall be construed so as to exclude or restrict liability for negligence.
• The cost of carriage to and from JVC shall be borne by the purchaser.
• This warranty is personal to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
• Any service carried out during the warranty period does not provide an extension of the warranty period.
• If we are unable to repair your unit for any reason, we reserve the right to replace the unit with one of the same or similar specification. In this instance, the remainder of the extended warranty period will apply.
• Any correspondence in respect of the registration for the 5-year warranty should be clearly marked EXTENDED WARRANTY REGISTRATION and sent to JVC UK, JVC HOUSE, JVC BUSINESS PARK, PRIESTLEY WAY, LONDON, NW2 7BA.
