JVC’s Everio GZ-MG680 is a hard disk camcorder capable of flawless image reproduction.

The first thing you’ll notice about the JVC Everio GZ-MG680 is its slim, compact and elegant design – the contoured grip enabling you to shoot in both style and comfort, with a new dual-use strap allowing the camcorder to be held traditionally or as an extendable wrist band.

The GZ-MG680 features a 120GB hard disk drive for over 28 hours 40 minutes of the highest video quality, with a microSD/SDHC card slot enabling further memory expansion.

The camcorder has a 1/6-inch 800,000-pixel CCD image sensor and uses a KONICA MINOLTA LENS with 35x Optical Zoom; this technology enables beautifully- sharp, precise pictures, and permits long-range filming absent of image degradation. Its HDMI output (1920x1080p/50p) even allows the facility to up-convert footage to High Definition.

The GZ-MG680 also boasts an auto lens cover that opens and closes in perfect harmony with the operation of the LCD screen; great for keeping your KONICA MINOLTA HD lens in tip top condition!!

Laser Touch Operation has been enhanced for the JVC Everio 2009 range, so zooming, recording, editing and thumbnail access to menu selections is easier than ever to control the GZ-MG680B.

Meanwhile, a stunning new feature of the GZ-MG680 hard disk camcorder is One-Touch YouTube™ Upload and iTunes® Export. This makes sharing and watching video easier than ever before. Simply shoot your footage, connect your camcorder to your PC using the supplied USB cable, then either UPLOAD 10 minutes of footage to YouTube™ or EXPORT video to your iTunes® library to watch later on your iPod® or iPhone®.

You can even use the one-touch feature to burn camcorder footage direct to DVD or an external hard drive. Simply, connect the GZ-MG680 hard disk camcorder to the stylish and portable Everio Share Station CU-VD50 or CU-VD3 via USB 2.0 and you can archive your video files onto DVDR/RW or dual-layer DVD-R discs, AVCHD DVD and Blu-ray discs.

The Share Station is not limited to use with the JVC Everio GZ-MG680 or Everio camcorders, however. When connected to your PC, it can be used as an external DVD burner for videos and other data, too, whilst playback of created DVDs is also possible directly from the CU-VD50 to your connected TV/display via the supplied HDMI cable.
