JVC’s Picsio GC-FM1 is a stylish, high-performance pocket High Definition camcorder that can shoot High Definition video and provides 8 Megapixel Stills for the easy sharing of high quality video and still images.
The first thing you’ll notice about the Picsio GC-FM1 High Definition camcorder is its simple, elegant design. The camera is about the size of a small cell phone, making it extremely convenient to take out and shoot HD-quality still images or video, anytime, anywhere.
Available in three colours – Black Ice, Blue Steel and Purple Passion, JVC’s Picsio GC-FM1 Full HD camcorder features tone-on-tone geometric pattern casing with chrome accents for a jewel-like appearance.
While using the camcorder, the GC-FM1’s built-in Digital Image Stabiliser becomes automatically operable, thus minimising camera shake so your footage is always smooth and steady to watch - even when using the 4x digital zoom.
The Picsio GC-FM1 is a CMOS camcorder. Its superior image quality, enabled by an 8 Megapixel CMOS image sensor, captures JPEG stills with up to 8 megapixel native resolution. With no image- degrading interpolation, Picsio images are sharp and vibrant, whether viewed on-screen or in print.
In video mode, the Picsio GC-FM1 High Definition camcorder records 1080p Full HD video that can be easily enjoyed on a HDTV by using the camera's HDMI connection. Videos are recorded in the widely-used MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format and stored as .MOV files for easy sharing without the need for time-consuming and potentially damaging conversion. External storage is available via the utilisation of microSD/SDHC memory cards.
The GC-FM1 makes sharing and watching video easier than ever before. Simply shoot your footage, connect your camcorder to your PC using the supplied USB cable, then either UPLOAD 10 minutes of footage to YouTube or EXPORT video to your iTunes library to watch later on your iPod or iPhone.
